The International Dates Council Participates in the “Summer Fancy Food Show 2026” in New York City

The International Dates Council concluded its participation today in the 68th Summer Fancy Food Show, held at the Javits Center in New York City, in cooperation with the National Center for Palms and Dates, as part of the Saudi pavilion participating in the exhibition.

During the event, the Council’s pavilion welcomed a number of officials and international dignitaries, including Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Wasel, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations; Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Hamdan, Consul General of the Kingdom in New York; Bill Lynch, President of the Fancy Food Show Group; and Joe Manolz, Executive Vice President of the World Olive Council, in addition to several leading dates importers from the United States and global markets.

HRH Princess Sarah bint Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Executive Director of the International Dates Council, emphasized that the Council’s participation in the exhibition contributed to raising awareness of its mission and objectives, while strengthening its presence at one of the world’s most prominent gatherings dedicated to the food industry.

She further noted that the event provided an important opportunity to expand the Council’s international network and support its strategic objectives in serving member states, while opening new avenues for cooperation and partnerships across global markets.

The participation also featured a series of bilateral meetings with major dates importers, company representatives, and distribution chains from the United States and international markets. These engagements focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration, promoting the global dates sector, and enhancing the presence and competitiveness of dates products in key international markets.

This participation reflects the Council’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation, expand market opportunities for dates, and support sustainable growth across the global dates industry through strategic partnerships and greater international engagement.
