The International Dates Council announced today the issuance of a resolution by the Council of Member States appointing Her Royal Highness Princess Sarah bint Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Executive Director of the International Dates Council. This step reflects confidence in Her Royal Highness’s competence and experience in the fields of development, international cooperation, and support for the dates sector.

The Council affirmed that the coming phase will see continued efforts to implement plans and initiatives aimed at developing the dates sector and enhancing its competitiveness in global markets, thereby contributing to sustainable development, strengthening food security, and supporting farmers and producers.

For her part, Her Royal Highness Princess Sarah bint Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed her pride in the confidence placed in her by the Member States.
