International Dates Council Participates in SIAL Paris 2026 to Expand the Global Market Presence of Dates

The International Dates Council is participating in SIAL Paris 2026, one of the world’s largest international exhibitions dedicated to the food industry, taking place in the French capital from 17 to 21 October.

Participating within the pavilion of Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Palms and Dates, the Council is highlighting the quality and diversity of date varieties produced across its seventeen member states. It also aims to expand engagement with importers, distributors, and food industry representatives, while exploring opportunities for commercial cooperation and access to new international markets.

In collaboration with Tomoor Al Madinah, the Council is offering pavilion visitors the opportunity to sample Ajwa Al Madinah, one of Saudi Arabia’s most renowned date varieties, and learn about its nutritional value and historical significance. This initiative is intended to raise awareness of dates among an international audience of food industry professionals.

SIAL Paris is considered one of the world’s leading gatherings for the food industry. According to estimates from the event organizer, the 2026 edition is expected to feature approximately 8,000 exhibitors and welcome nearly 295,000 professionals from around 200 countries. The exhibition provides valuable opportunities for producers, importers, and buyers to connect, while also showcasing the latest developments in the food industry and emerging trends in global markets.
