HRH Princess Sarah bint Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Executive Director of the International Dates Council, met today with Mr. Munir bin Ali Al Muniri, Vice Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority for Operations, in the presence of Eng. Abdullah Al Rashdi, Chief Executive Officer of the Oman Food Investment Holding Company, and Dr. Ali Al Arimi, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Agriculture Development Company.

During the meeting, the participants discussed areas of cooperation in investments related to the dates sector and reviewed available opportunities to support related value chains.

HRH also met with H.E. Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri, Minister of Economy, where they discussed frameworks supporting the development of the dates sector ecosystem and strengthening partnerships related to agricultural investment.

Princess Sarah emphasized the International Dates Council’s commitment to supporting integration efforts among member states and promoting the exchange of expertise and knowledge in a manner that enhances the added value of this sector.
